Hotel developers New World Hotels asked Hotel Insure to act as their ‘insurance department’ and provide hotel developer insurance for a new hotel opening under the Ramada Encore brand.
This was a joint venture with construction company called Carillion so we met with Directors of both firms to put together a cost effective deal with the entire range of covers they’d need. We also liaised with the Wyndham Hotel Group in the USA to authorise the policy and ensure the hotel opened on time.
And that was only the beginning.
With more developments in the pipeline we were able to arrange extremely competitive hotel developer insurance for three further sites. This included specialist cover for a property at the NEC that needed not only relevant liability cover but also cover for advance loss of profits during its development stage.
We continue to act as their insurance advisers and will be arranging hotel development insurance cover for upcoming developments.
